Wait List: Indigenous Awareness in the Early Years

Date Sep 14, 2021 | Time 6:30pm - 8:30pm

This workshop will take the participants on a journey of pre-contact, contact and today's realities for Indigenous people across Turtle Island. This journey will allow the participants to understand ways of life before contact, the challenges brought on by colonization with discussion on the Indian Act, residential school, 60's/millennial scoop and then ways to bring Indigenous people's resilience into our lives in an authentic way. This journey will be facilitated with respect and vulnerability. Come and ask all the questions you always had regarding Indigenous people.
