Wait List: Outdoor Play and Learning K-7 Outdoors

Date Mar 8, 2022 | Time 7:00pm - 9:00pm

In this workshop we will explore cross-curricular opportunities for meaningful, hands on learning outdoors with school aged children. Participants will broaden their understanding of how to develop and support the big ideas, core and curricular competencies using BC curriculum documents in an outdoor classroom. Specific examples of cross-curricular learning will be shared, along with inspiring stories of student engagement, diversity and inclusion. Just about everything K-7 can be taught outdoors! This workshop will explore how we might support happier, healthier, more motivating play and learning outdoors!
